Your local and multi-lingual walking guide Franz (Proprietor of Discovery Gran Canaria), who is called “Paco” here, has known this island since 1982. For some time now he has been living here.
He was born in Uruguay, is Dutch and being a world traveller lived for 30 years in Germany, 1 year in Argentina and ran his own tour company while living for 10 years in Western Canada before he moved to Gran Canaria together with his wife. In bear country like the beautiful Rocky Mountains he guided walks with great passion.
With the same enthusiasm he now shares the pleasure of walking on the most fascinating trails of Gran Canaria with guests from different countries.
During the various walks Franz will acquaint you with the island and its people – and if you
wish, with some Spanish as well!
